Hersteller SiS erweitert seine Produktpalette im Bereich der Pentium IV Chipsätze um den neuen SiS 655TX Chip. Neben den üblichen integrierten Features unterstützt der Controller auch FSB800 und die eigens entwickelte Advanced HyperStreaming Technologie, welche dem Chipsatz mehr Performance erlauben soll. Erste Motherboards auf Basis des SiS 655TX sollen ab November erhältlich sein.
